Dead world, full of shades

In which I played Daniel Benmergui’s “Today I Die”, a 2009 IGF finalist, and was surprised to find the emotions it sturred up in me. A fun mechanic of playing with the words in a poem and a theme of combatting despair and loneliness make this title stand out. Too bad it is so short.
